About us
IDEEA (Interactive, Design, Entertainment, Education and Art) Lab is a laboratory doing research on interface design, interaction design, engineering, and artistic expression. We develop new tactile input devices, interfaces to control visual media, and other similar technologies. We also conduct research on new ways of communicating. Our laboratory is engaged in all stages of development, from coming up with ideas to designing and engineering finished products. At present IDEEA Lab comprises of two studios, Interactive Art Studio and Interface Design Studio. although our laboratory was founded in 2009, it has already had work exhibited at many events and institutions including SIGGRAPH, the Ars Electronica Center in Austria, and many science and art museums in Japan.
